Hello! We are a premium game development company making games for more than 2 years now. We've had a lot of success in mobile and our next project is a narrative-focused game for the PC. Our policy of making games is simple - connect with the player on an emotional level via the narrative. We require a 2D artist with excellent skills who can animate too and is familiar with game engine Unity. His job will be to illustrate the art assets and animate them if necessary. The application we need built will collect in-game stats (k/d, game scores, etc), and store in Amazon S3 or similar technology. We're seeking a developer who is passionate about the industry and who can help us create a prototype that simply collects and stores data from PC games such as League of Legends, Counterstrike, and Battlefield. Pending successful completion we expect an ongoing need for similar development. Essentially what we need to build is an app/utility that will listen to raw data game activity, either leveraging a game API or some other method so that we can receive a real time feed of all game activity or at a minimum the local player's data/game activity. For example, for a first-person shooter game such as Battlefield or Call of Duty, we would like to be able to have data so we could build a report that shows the number of kills, number of deaths, who the player killed or was killed by in each instance, time spent in game, etc. (essentially the k/d scroll). For this initial version, just a single game will need to be supported. This is in many ways a proof of concept to determine the viability of a much larger project we'll be undertaking. Right now we mostly have the preliminary technical details, with much of the scope needing to be determined by the developer chosen. We would like to sniff/scrape directly from the players or game, collecting in real-time, and likely storing on an Amazon solution. This project is for raw data collection only, no parsing or processing required for this phase.
