Looking for an experienced JS dev with lots of experience on the front-end, and also preferably with chrome extensions. We are a small start-up with a prototype product currently in early alpha release, and one part-time engineer. We need extra help to speed up feature development as we ramp up distribution over the next month. Start time is asap. Our extension uses bootstrap tour to guide users through a web-based process (disputing items on your credit report), while using (simple) algorithms to make choices for them. Currently our prototype achieves this basic user flow, but we need to: upgrade the tour templates (views) and add several more; create separate user flows for initial signup and various exceptions; add state and appropriately handle multiple site visits; make the decision making algorithms more detailed. We'd like someone who can put in between 15 and 20 per week for the next four weeks. If things go well with our launch and this project (we are a funded startup), this could become a regular part-time gig.

I'm currently building an iPhone app (preview here: http://www.communikitty.com), and am using Node with parse-server running on Heroku for the API. I was previously using Parse.com but have already switched to having it self hosted, including Parse Cloud Code. It's all connected to a MongoDB database on MongoLabs. It also has a front-end running on Angular which serves the landing page, as well as a bunch of custom admin pages. I would like to find someone that can handle all aspects of this back-end: - node parse server - angular front-end - heroku server administration - mongodb administration - continuous integration testing - security testing and administration This would be ongoing work as needed. Hopefully we can develop a good working relationship and you can help me grow this back-end as needed, helping write needed code for the back and front ends, and make it a reliable and secure server system for my iPhone app to start (and as it gains users) and then for the web as I grow that portion. The list of technologies used again is: - Node - Express - parse-server (https://github.com/ParsePlatform/parse-server) - Angular - CoffeeScript - Jade - Sass - Heroku - MongoDB on MongoLabs
