I need a Google web app, mostly expecting mobile use, using a Google Sheet as database. User enters a string, and it is used to look up a row in a spreadsheet (the sheet is not shared with user), and displays some of that information in formatted ways in the app. I think it's a simple one-page app. Some sections/divisions will only be visible if the corresponding information is present in the sheet.
Key issues: user must not be able to get to the sheet: they should only be able to see the row associated with the string they've entered. I may want a capcha.
This is for the first draft: if we get it working, there may be more work polishing or extending it.
If you look at the (very rough) mockup below, it will give you some idea of what is needed. The first sheet is the data. The second is a glossary, since some of the data is in abbreviated form. The third sheet is a very ugly version of the mobile app. The only editable field in the final app is the one field in green, C1. Some of the fields, when blank, should be hidden entirely. Note how SF, MF, LF appear in both required and provided columns, as substrings.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
