We’re looking for a strategic planning consultant/facilitator to help develop a strategic plan for a not-for-profit Assisted Living Facility. The plan will be succinct and include a short, achievable set of prioritized goals and objectives, representing the board’s vision for the next 3-5 years, to be delegated to the Management Team for operations and execution. The planning process will build on previous work including a brief organizational assessment, SWOT analysis and priorities identified during our recent board retreat. The consultant will work primarily with the Board’s Strategic Planning Committee and key members of the Management Team to prepare the plan, as well as other Board members as needed. We anticipate scheduling several in-person and/or virtual meetings with the Planning Committee to further prioritize and specify components of the plan over a 3-month period. The consultant will provide a narrative report with a table for plan reporting and tracking purposes. The resulting plan will then be presented to the board as a whole for their adoption.

Cross to Light is a non-denominational non-profit Christian organization that primarily provides biblical teaching and training. Through its operations it also extends relief to people in need by distributing food, water, clothing and medical assistance, all free of charge. Haiti Relief and Bible Training Center: Through the operation of the Haiti Bible Training Center and extended campus our core function in Haiti is to bring in young leaders from different provinces of Haiti in order to build them up in the Word of God, taking them through the bible over the course of two years and send them back out to plant churches in order to provide bible teaching discipleship and community relief throughout the entire country. Each church plant is a community center where assistance to the poor, homeless, widows and orphans of Haiti are given relief aid. At the church facilities, in addition to the bible teaching and discipleship we dig deep water wells, provide medical supplies and assistance and distribute relief aid - all free of cost to the Haitian people. Support Israel Bible Tour: This annual bible tour hosted by Cross to Light brings a group to tour and serve in Israel. The tour group helps the people of Israel by serving at soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless park outreaches and helping the holocaust survivors. We are seeking a grant administrator who will research, help select, write and report for appropriate grants. This starts as a contract position but could develop into a full time position.
