I require an experienced ObjC developer with strong experience developing Mac OS apps to join our remote team. You will be working on a specific product that is currently a popular Mac App Store app. Initially, you will be responsible for updating the mac app in preparation for Mac OS El Capitan, where we have some known issues. You will also carry out a refresh of the UI which is more in keeping within OSX Yosemite / El Capitan Style. From there, there is a solid roadmap of features which involves working with a ruby-gem based engine and web api's. Therefore knowledge and skills in ruby / rails development is a significant advantage. The product is aimed at front-end web developers, so knowledge of this domain is also preferred, including - pre-compilers and template engines (SASS, SCSS, HAML, SLIM etc.), javascript frameworks and libraries (React, Angular etc.) and modern web development workflows. Skills ----------- ObjC Expertise (Swift will be useful in future) Automated...

We've got a Rails 3 application that needs to be made mobile responsive using the Skeleton Framework (getskeleton.com). The initial integration of Skeleton is complete, in that the CSS framework has been included into the Rails app and two pages have been successfully converted, but there are 15 remaining views that need to be migrated over, mostly by inserting .row and .column definitions. We're using Stylus (learnboost.github.io/stylus) for CSS preprocessing and HAML (haml.info) for the HTML templating language so experience with both is strongly recommended. Code is hosted on Bitbucket so you'll need an account and you should also be intimately familiar with Git, including working with branches and pull requests. This should be a straightforward gig for someone who has experience with the technologies listed above - it's totally frontend work, no coding logic required. Thanks for reading and looking forward to hearing from you!

Do you: • Love writing clean, solid code that's easy to maintain? • Enjoy flexing your full-stack muscles by working with a great UX/UI designer on a beautiful site that millions of consumers will use? • Crave working on a small, fast-paced team that hates unproductive meetings and “office politics”? • Believe you are a truly expert RoR developer who knows how to use Bootstrap to deliver a truly responsive site? If you answered “yes!” to these questions, then this is the job for you. A little about us: • We are a fully-funded, stealth-mode startup in NYC. • Our small product team (product lead, UX/UI designer, and 1.5 RoR full-stack developers) has built a fully-responsive Rails/Postgres/HAML/SASS/Bootstrap site (with some React thrown in). • We’re about to launch our MVP, and have a full backlog of great features to add, so we want to add one more great developer to the team. You need to be: • Very comfortable both with backend data structures...
