I first want to know if this is possible and then how much it will cost to develop. For me, the idea is simple and not overly technical for the write developers. I'm looking for someone who has done this before.
There are several websites that offer home value calculations. This means a home owner can type in a street address and pull up an estimated value. What I would like to do is have the backend programming take 1 street address and pull the home value off of 7 different websites.
To give you an example, here are three of the website that offer an estimator. Type in a street address (211 South 600 West, Heber City, UT 84032 is one you can try) and see what it pulls up.
http://www.zillow.com/ - Click the Zestimate button before putting in the address.
For some of these they require a free login.
For now, the only information that would need to be pulled from these sites is the current estimated home value. These numbers would be listed out on a simple website after a visitor has entered their contact info and home address. That's it!
I have several questions:
- How do we get around the required registration on these sites?
- Could the code for this be placed on a landing page tool like Clickfunnels?
- What kind of updates would this need over time?
- How can we lower the cost for building this tool for this initial version then how can we upgrade it?
