Should be able to complete or manage the following:
Supervises, directs and coordinates activities of staff engaged in the Human Resources activities
Develops, maintains, and assures equitable administration of all personnel systems, procedures, and practices, such as recruitment, interviewing, hiring, unemployment, employee handbook, employee records, job descriptions, payroll coordination, termination, and workers’ compensation
Develops and oversees overall compensation program of company, including salary, wages, annual incentive plans, long-term incentive plans and all other compensation
Provides advice to Corporate staff on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs
Develops, maintains, and administers and oversees all international Human Resources activities
Keeps apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws including international, and regulations in order to ensure Company compliance
Support Senior Leadership Team and Compensation Committee in all compensation and other Human Resources activities
Develop, maintain, and administer competitive employee benefit programs. Assure benefit communication throughout the company
Periodically review benefit plans and provide necessary information for the development of new or enhanced programs, as needed. Maintain and monitor benefit plans with appropriate broker(s) and carrier(s)
Act as the liaison to third party administrator regarding all aspects of employee benefits, such as retirement plans; basic hospital, medical, surgical, and major medical plans; term life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and all other benefits
Establish, author and maintain competitive, performance appraisal system, and initiate and coordinate long-range staff planning
Direct and participate in all steps of the hiring process to include, position requisition and approval, interviewing, reference checking and job offer letter for companies within REG
Responsible for processing worker’s compensation claims along with supporting documents.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures compliance
Responsible for compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and insure proper compliance is followed
Coordinates and/or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation
Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the President and CEO or CFO on personnel matters
