I am currently a US citizen and seeking dual citizenship with Italy. Both my grandfather and grandmother were born in Italy and naturalized to the US (documents: I know I qualify, but I am looking for someone familiar with Italian citizenship laws to help me walk through each and every step in filing for dual citizenship (e.g. what documents do I need, how do I acquire them, where do I send things, how do I get them officially recognized, etc).

Hello, I’m writing this on behalf of myself and my partner; we live in the UK and have desperately been scouring the internet the past year in hopes to find information and a viable path to the USA or Canada. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the topic, the majority of websites hold information or services for an extremely large fee when in reality, all I wish to do is ask few questions, and if you are able to provide any avenues then we will proceed from there. The only useful information that we have been able to find is that an E-2 Visa may be possible based on what other UK citizens have expressed online. I do want to mention that we don’t want to limit ourselves to E-2 Visas. These won’t take long to answer as they are extremely basic questions, yet like I said, I can’t seem to find any concrete answers to these questions online. For the USA: 1- I run an online retail business, with my own product and brand/company, selling on – with stock held exclusively in the USA, and products being sold only in the USA (though I can expand to Canada). I have invested a lot of money in it already. Can this be used to obtain a visa? Would this work for an E-2 visa, or can it be used in another way? 2- If we buy an apartment/villa with a mortgage, would this count as an investment? Better yet, if we rent it out (which would be a business), surely this would this grant an E-2 visa? Is this correct? 3- If not, and we must invest in a different business, how small can the amount be? We have seen others invest as little as $4500 to $13,000. I ask this because if we buy a business that’s only worth $10,000, and that becomes our business, would that still apply? 4- Could the E-2 visa investment be done as a joint investment, or must it be from an individual? 5- We are planning to live in the Orlando area, would the business/investment have to be located in the same area or state? Or can it be based in another state? 6- Can an investment be a small percentage of a business? 7- Would I be able to invest in a franchise? Regarding the O-1 visa: My father is a well-known martial arts master and writer, with many certificates, belts, awards and is featured in many magazine articles and on covers. I’m also featured in some of the publications and also hold a belt. Can this be used to grant an O-1 Visa? Ideally I’d like to just continue my current business there as I have already spent a lot of time and money over the years and it is a U.S business. I have been travelling to Orlando over the course of 20 years and while it was for leisure, I do strongly feel like it is the right place for me. If there are any options for Canada that may be easier, we are definitely willing but our hearts are set on Orlando, or Nevada. Thank you

Hi, I and my startup co-founder have been holding Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa for 1,5 year now after being endorsed by the UK Trade & Investment as winners of the UK Government's Sirius Program. In August we plan to switch to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa after we secured investment of 85,000 GBP from two UK angel investors (third parties). UK Trade & Investment advised us on documents we will need to switch and we collected them. Now we are looking for an experienced UK immigration lawyer to review all documents before we submit the application to Home Office on 2nd of August. Please answer your below questions if you want to apply for this job. Thanks! Milenko Pilic HeySuccess CEO & Founder

I am looking for someone who is an expert in UK law to contribute towards a light hearted article I'm writing about Nicola Sturgeon and what laws of Great Britain (that are still current no matter how old) in which she could be breaking by her stance on the EU referendum and Scotland and forcing Scotland into a second vote for independence. This followed a conversation with someone about how she could technically be arrested for High Treason, now whilst I appreciate that would be very unlikely it did get me thinking about how fun it would be to write an humorous article outlining what laws she could be breaking!
