I am looking for a product/industrial designer to create me a sleek looking luggage bag. The focus I want is on a large wheel base for the luggage. I want to create a luggage with large wheels so it can easily be dragged over stairs and uneven ground. (Please see photo attached for some references) Things to note: 1) Large wheel design. Do take note that I do not want an axle to link the 2 wheels together as it will take up the interior space of the luggage. Each wheel is directly attached to the side of the luggage. The diameter of the wheel (at least 180mm or more) around the depth of the luggage and the width of the tyre is around 15mm. I don't want the tyre too thick as it will take a lot of space and weight. Please note also big wheel will change the centre of gravity of the whole luggage. 2) The design is for cabin luggage. (approximate size is about 55cm x 40cm x 23cm). 2) It must not be too bulky and heavy. (check in weight is approximately 7 to 10kg) 3) I would prefer either a full hard casing luggage or a hybrid between hard casing and fabric. (Please ensure the smooth operation of the zippers as certain design make the zippers hard to use.) 4) Target Market is frequent flyer. (Most likely working professionals). Thus I need the design to be sleek, clean and a bit of futuristic element in it. 5) The weight of the luggage is ideally in the range of 3.2kg to 3.6kg. 6) There are 2 main components: one is a front pouch; for putting laptop, phone or stuff easy to take out during custom check. The main pouch: for putting clothing and other stuff. (Need not design on the interior). 7) Not more than 3 colours in the design.

Hello, We have a really exciting project for a new phone cases, the cases will be made from aluminium and will be CNC'd then have a TPU insert. We want to take the styling of Lamborghini and transfer this exquisite style to a premium CNC'd phone case. We are looking for someone that has exceptional product design skills but with an extensive knowledge of the capabilities of manufacturing especially within CNC and Injecting TPU. We want two concepts these can be in the form of high quality drawings or 3d rendered models. we would need 3 angles of each concept - the concepts must be able to be manufactured within the limits of CNC. the TPU insert must be able to be pushed through the frame and protect all of the high impact areas (corners). The sides would ideally need slits or slots that the TPU can also be pushed through to increase the grip. We would like to have a chat before the project goes ahead so that we can really aline on expectations and get the best out of this project. Thanks!!

6 months ago, we hired a custom furniture designer-manufacturer to create hybrid custom seating and storage for our tiny green office-classroom, designed after a boutique hotel in our company's namesake city Vernazza, a fishing village on the Italian Riviera. Last week, the CEO of the custom furniture design firm said that the first prototype failed structurally. The MDF no-VOC pressed wood sagged when one 180-lb person sat on only 1 of 2 seats. His team had designed, not engineered. Designer is claiming the need to switch from MDF to solid hard wood ... at 3 times the cost. We'd like the lightest weight, strongest bench to support full lateral filing cabinet storage (calculate cabinet full of dense copier paper) + two 350-lb seated guests. We need an industrial design engineer to re-engineer and fix the manufacturer's design, using the existing (donated Wilsonart Tan Echo laminate) materials and design. The intent of the six two-seater benches: - surpass internationally accepted design & engineering standards for office seating (chairs) and lateral filing cabinets (storage) re: ergonomics, fire safety, ruggedness, impact on light in space, form (texture, comfort, intrigue, etc.) - to be used daily by up to six sustainable real estate consultants for hidden, secure (lockable) lateral filing & other storage - to be used 3-6 times monthly as a classroom seating for 2 to 8-hour ECO [BOOT CAMP], GREEN [BOOT CAMP] and SOLAR [BOOT CAMP] courses for real estate executives and heads of households - tiny green office-classroom is 14' wide x 28' long - appeal to well-traveled real estate executives, but speak elegant (sophisticated) simplicity (frugality) - lockable rollers suitable for linoleum floors - retractable (hidden) seat backs that may feature Hawaiian seat back cushions since we've been doing ENERGY STAR benchmarking and certification of commercial buildings in Hawaii - large single bench seat cushion (not 2 seat cushions as shown in materials takeoff) seat cushion: 23.1" - wide x 20.0" - deep x 1.88" thick seat back: 16.3" wide x 13.9" high x 1.88" - thick (?)

Hello Everyone, We are interested in a designer / modeler that can help with modeling some conceptual / final designs for various projects. The projects are mostly mechanical in nature. Some drawings could be provided or simple sketches using Fusion 360. Since we know Fusion and use it for productions we would need all final files imported into Fusion or created in Fusion. We are currently interested in seeing some work from fellow CAD/Industrial designers. We are wanting to work on project rate vs hourly, but our open to the right person/team. We have one current project that needs completed and 2-3 more over the next month. If you are interested in applying, please send us at least one example of work created in CAD and your skill set in creating in Fusion 360 or importing final designs. We would also like to know the average time for the project. We are wanting to hire someone in the next week or so. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks!
