My company is developing a mobile app. The mobile app monetarily rewards certain shopping behavior detected by the application. There are a few primary competitors in the space and before we launch want to make sure that we are not infringing on patents they already own. In this project you will: (1) Receive a demonstration of the application for context. (2) Receive a list of the companies to research what patents they may have in this area already and that we could possibly be infringing upon (3) Perform a patent search and summarize findings for each of these companies and any other related patents that are found by other companies or individuals that we might be infringing upon. (4) Determine if our particular application is patentable and advise as to whether or not we should submit a patent application. (5) Perform a copyright search on the application name and inform whether name can be used and what variations of the name could be copyrighted.

I’m seeking a US based patent agent/lawer who is experienced at filing provisional patent applications for the USPTO. The device is an electronic accessory so similar experience is ideal and preferred. We have a draft along with drawings and figures prepared. We need someone to research if there are existing patents that would result in our application being denied. We have done preliminary research searching a multitude of terms on Google Patent and found nothing conflicting yet, however we need someone experienced to doublecheck. Assuming we get past this stage, we then need to review and revise our draft so that it is ready to file and will be accepted by the USPTO as a valid provisional patent. Budget is flexible based on experience.

I am looking for anyone who is fluent in the english language and knows how to check trademarks on uspto. You will be checking trademarks on roughly 900-1000 designs. This should not take very long overall, but I want to ensure that everything is checked thoroughly to make sure all designs are being complied with intellectual property law.

I am owner of a recording studio called AK Beatz LLC which is based in York, Pennsylvania. Myself and another gentleman are co-owners of the LLC and we have been in business since March of 2015. The business is starting to pick up and we have some big upcoming opportunities with Music Education Programs and Recording Audio/Creating custom music for recording artists. Unfortunately we were intimidated with the costs of hiring a lawyer to draw up our Operating Agreement and other documents associated with running the business. This leaves me with about 10 questions which I think could be answered with a simple consultation and about 6 to 10 documents that will need either reviewed or drafted, which I have listed below. Documents needed to be drafted or reviewed: 1. Operating Agreement a. Business ownership b. Splitting Ownership, Credit, and profit for each song or project c. Hours of operation/ Work put into business by each owner d. Exiting agreement 2. New Client folder (Review) a. Studio Policy terms and conditions b. Production services/Rate agreement c. Talent consent and release d. Session musician/vocalist release contract 3. Beat Library contract w/electronic signature (Review) 4. Payment plan agreement/terms and conditions (Review) 5. Renewal of LLC? Never received notice and it is still active on state portal. (Review) 6. Set of books and/or list of equipment to verify monetary and equipment contributions to business There will probably be the need for a few hours of work needed initially to draft contracts but we find ourselves in many situations where we need various types of contracts or legal help quite often depending on the projects we are working on.

The current final rejection from the USPTO includes 101, 112, and 103 rejections - I am only asking you to draft and provide one or more 103 arguments for each of the rejected claims under 103. You need not provide arguments for the 101 or 112 rejections. The technology relates to digital image processing. More work in the future if an excellent job is done.

We need a Non-disclosure/Non-use/Non-circumvention agreement for use with our manufacturers and potential suppliers in China. The product is a plastic case made by injection moulding. It needs to be written with reference to Chinese law (and court system) and at a minimum provide us with protection from the following 3 angles: 1. Prevent the supplier from using our mould for any purpose other than our orders 2. Formulate the legal ownership of the Mould to our company 2. Prevent the distribution of our IP to 3rd parties. 3. Prevent a supplier from using our IP for any purpose other than manufacturing the product in question for us (and only us). 4. Prevent a supplier from selling direct to our clients. It will need to be written in English and Chinese and we will need to be able to make slight edits (such as changing the suppliers name in English and Chinese) so we can re-use the document (for the same product) but for different suppliers.

Hello, I am a PCT national phase applicant in Japan residing in India. As I am a foreign applicant, I had appointed a patent administrator for my application in Japan by submitting Power of Attorney. My patent administrator who is my friend and not an Attorney by profession is soon going to be relocated outside Japan, so I have to appoint a new patent administrator. As per Japan Patent Office, the new agent must be a member of JPAA. I have already followed the due process in Japan Patent Office for requesting examination for my application. The subject matter for my application is a business method. I am expecting a rejection of my application, however I still want to complete the follow up of my application with JPO to the point where application gets rejected. I do not intend to argue/amend my application after notification of reason for rejection. I need you to do the following: 1. Please share your name and address in English & Japanese and I will fill up the notification of Power of Attorney forms in both English & Japanese and send these forms enclosed in a pre-addressed envelope at your address. You will have to just take out the pre-addressed envelope, seal it and post it to JPO. 2. You will have to accept the rejection of my application from JPO and post it to me. Note: Since I did only step 1 to appoint my first patent administrator, I assume only that needs to be done again to change my administrator. Being a patent attorney, you would know whether this assumption is correct or whether any extra steps need to be performed to revoke the first Power of Attorney. I shall be thankful if you can inform me of any extra steps needed and I will adjust the price of project in case anything extra needs to be done. Postal charges in step 1 and 2 will be borne by me separately and are not included in the project price. In case any other action is needed on my application than what I have mentioned, we will discuss its pricing as we come to know about it. Hoping for responses. Kind regards Prateek Kumar Singh India.
