The Virtual Paralegal position spans responsibilities from reviewing documents and document production to client on boarding with many tasks in between. Your role of reliably taking on new client projects while managing tasks, communicating progress and monitoring your own workflow will allow the firm to consistently deliver great client service. All of this is specifically to facilitate freeing up of the attorney’s time.
Paralegal Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with attorney on caseload including research, documentation and client liaison as assigned
Support attorney as needed until permanently assigned as first point of contact for Trademark services once client engaged
Initiate research for Trademark records and set appointment for 30 minute case review.
Interview clients for general information for files creation, including document collection follow up as necessary
Prepare filing for Trademark applications
Prepare filing for Copyright applications
Calendar and manage filing deadlines and response requirements
Assist attorney with preparing correspondences, memorandums, pleadings and other documents as case requires.
Daily documentation with time tracking system and updates to client case files
Weekly adherence to List deadline for project management meeting with Principal
Additional duties as assigned
