I need an experienced programmer who can design an app which uses image recognition to replace a real image with another image on an iOS device (much like the Google Translate app does with text - deleting the real image and overlaying another on top of where it was).
Further bells and whistles:
When a selfie is taken with the new image displayed on the iOS device (standing in front of the real image), certain accessories are added to the individuals face (much like the app MSQRD). This would involve very precise segmentation of the individual being shot as he/she will be standing in front of the real image which is being converted to the other on the iOS device. In other words, the real image will be somewhat of a green screen where another fake image is overlaid on the iOS device and the person stands in front of that image wearing digital accessories (to be designed — 3D computer graphics designer needed at later date).
For example, imagine a person standing in front of a large advertisement. When the iOS is held up to the ad, the image changes on the device. If the person decides to take a selfie, he would be standing in front of the "new" image with a digital hat on his head. This selfie could then be shot and then sent by email or posted.
Most of this programming technology already exists, so much of the "magic" side would be through licensing agreements. I need someone who can bring all of this "already existing" tech into a perfected app that works FLAWLESSLY.
This is the "gist" of the project which could have far reaching implications if done to perfection. Proof that this can work FLAWLESSLY would need to be shown within 1 month's time!! Once proof is complete, the project can then develop over a larger period of time as we continue to add items (images, accessories, etc. - along with the work of the 3D designer) and further perfect the app.
The app will function much like a game and will be marketed as such.
