We are looking for a web designer to design and develop a new website for our [multiple location] boat dealership. Designer will meet with management and marketing team to understand and translate user and business needs into user experiences that evolve from wireframes to HTML/CSS prototype to finished website design.
The resulting website should remain very inventory-heavy while giving the site a fresh new look and the users a cleaner and more interactive experience. Designer must also ensure functionality and usability of the site, including cross-browsed experience between different browsers and devices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsive HTML5/CSS3
• JS Framworks
• UI Graphics
• Information Architecture and Taxonomies
• Wireframes and Annotations
• Visual Designs
Must demonstrate past experience (through a solid portfolio) and samples that utilize jQuery framework, HTML5, CSS, wireframing, as well as superior website designs, skills and knowledge.
Extensive knowledge of the latest design and front-end development tools, including:
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, or comparable for visual design mockups and graphics
• Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or comparable for wireframing
