We have been building our in-house SEO team and realize that we need some offsite assistance! So far, we have colleagues covering onsite strategy, onsite implementation, and offsite strategy. Now, we need a skilled person to fill the offsite implementation role. This person will work with the SEO Project Manager to develop the brand via high-quality backlinks and brand mentions. This role is slated to work for 3-6 months, but can continue longer if the value is there.
We are a dominant figure in our industry and would love to work with someone who is passionate about fitness, willing to listen and learn, and willing to communicate frequently. We are trying to maximize value, and are open to working with people from all locations.
-Perform link prospecting to identify most appropriate web sites to target for outreach
-Utilize a variety of SEO tools to analyze and evaluate prospective web sites
-Execute all day-to-day (if necessary on a daily basis), tactical aspects of influencer outreach, finding ways to build genuine relationships with publishers using the most appropriate means available: social, email, phone, networking, etc
-Work with the SEO, and Creative teams to develop content that is engaging and can be promoted by third party partners/publishers.
-Act as the point-person for research and outreach to publishers/blogs/forums (working with the Marketing Specialist who currently manages bloggers and external partners) for the purpose of brand-building
-Monitor competitor strategies, identify publishers/partners used by competitors
-Track and monitor a portfolio of new and existing links acquired
-Previous position or interest in link building and link acquisition
-Knowledge and genuine interest in best practices of SEO and the internet, especially as they relate to link building
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proficient in Excel, Word, and comfortable working in text-based CMS/HTML editors
-Attention to detail
