As a Localization Vendor Manager, you will manage the overall relationships with our external localization service providers (mainly translators, reviewers and DTP specialists), including translations, reviews, and other language-related services. You will manage the day-to-day relationships with the service providers, business agreements with vendors, performance goal setting, reviews with service providers, escalations and process improvements between our client and the service providers. You will also keep a high-level strategic view of our current and prospect vendor base.
Supervise processes around working with vendors, including onboarding of vendor workers.
Document vendor agreements and workflows for the Localization team for purpose of training or work guidance on vendor related topics.
Create programs to evaluate vendor performance; organize and run review sessions with management and service providers.
Develop high-level relationship with Localization vendors' account management, including handling of escalations.
Manage the vendor selection process and work with Dropbox's Legal team to execute agreements.
Localization industry expertise.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
3-5 years of recruiting/vendor management work experience.
Experience working with vendors/freelancers.
Experience in managing relationships with clients or suppliers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
