We are looking to create a drone video service company where people can order custom drone videos. Where Droners (owners of Drones) can signup to our website. Once the Droners signup, they will become “videographers” on our website that people can hire to shoot custom drone videos for them. The custom drone videos will be for real estate, farms, weddings, and more. We need a website where Droners can signup to the website and can be part of our “work force” to shoot custom Drone videos for us. After a Droner signs up, they will upload some samples of their work so that we (the admin and owners of the website) can review their work. Once we review their work, we can approve them for specific skill sets. Meaning some Droners will be able to shoot only wedding videos, some will only shoot real estate videos, while others can shoot any and all type of Drone videos. The goal being that we can assign the best Droner for the specific job. Since we will review each Droner, we will make sure their credentials meet the standards that we are looking for, for the specific job that is ordered. By screening the Droners we will be able to always match up the best Droner for the job. When a new Drone Job or Video Order comes in, we can direct the job to one of the Droners that works for us/is part of our crew. That Droner will be able to review the job details (what the job entails. For example, if it’s a wedding where they want to hire a Drone to take some footage it will provide: where it will be located, what kind of videos to take, and how much the pay is for the job). The Droner can then choose to accept or decline the job. If the Droner declines the job, the job will be offered to another Droner in our system until someone accepts the job. Once the Droner accepts the job, they will go shoot the video. When they get home from the shoot, they will upload the video clips that they shot to our website. We will then give those clips to a video editor who will edit the clips together into a movie. After we (the admin) approve the edited drone video, it will be sent directly to the customer who ordered it. Once the customer accepts the job, the Droner and Video Editor will be paid for their work. We need a full functioning backend system that can handle all of the work to make it as automated as possible. Where as we (the admin and owners of the website) can make sure jobs are assigned to Droners, then the Droners upload the clips, the video editors edit the clips, and the final job is presented to the customer) all from the backend of the website so it will need to be extremely detailed and professionally built. We are going to want to add some other custom features to the website. For example: An Affiliate program (for stock footage and affiliate system for ordering drone Videos.) That way other Drone Videos can “promote” our website and get paid if they send new customers to our website. Allow Droners to sell stock footage of any videos they have shot in the past. Allow the customers to monetize/sell their videos as stock footage to the public. We are looking for a team of 3-5 programmers who can work on this job together. We have a full business plan write up of details of exactly what we are looking for which is pretty complex. We are looking for a team who has experience in writing clean, quality PHP code. We would like to see samples of your work and references

I am building a product that is running on Raspberry Pi (Raspbian) and there is a kernel that is open source, but needs to be adjusted for our purposes. I'm not exactly sure what languages are required, but I would pay someone strong with linux administration and kernel development / compiling to take a look at our problem and provide an estimate with scope of work for solving it. Looking for someone in the US, preferably west-coast, and English speaking. There is a strong potential for additional work.

Hello, A little background... we want to deploy a public (compute) cloud in a multi-tenant configuration to migrate a ton of dedicated server customers over to a centralized platform. We want to use this same cloud to consolidate our existing internal resources (physical and VM) onto the same common platform. We'd prefer to use and Open Source platform for this - hence Openstack and Cloudstack. Must have: - Ability to provision CentOS and Ubuntu based images - Live migration support of VMs from one Hypervisor node to another - Ability to start an instance on a second Hypervisor after hardware failure - VPC style networking with private network support and VPN Nice to have: - Windows and FreeBSD instance support - Automated VM migration/restart on Hypervisor failure - Integrated network device management I'm looking for an individual (not agency) contractor with expertise deploying and managing Openstack and/or Cloudstack. This is not a junior or mid-level position. Collectively we have decades of Linux experience and are looking for a person who can own the cloud environment for us. As part of the selection process we'll want to discuss: - Openstack vs. Cloudstack, - Ceph integration and redundancy for storage, - block redundancy for compute instances, - appropriate network layout, and interface types, - container deployment, - integration with billing, - puppet vs. chef vs. ansible vs. maas, - etc... We have a good amount of hardware for the initial deployment already allocated in our datacenter. Ram and Disk can be adjusted on the nodes as necessary. If you are reading this and getting excited I'd love to chat.
