Install, configure, and troubleshoot CartoDB server: http://cartodb.readthedocs.org/en/latest/install.html I did this five years ago and it was quite difficult. Another map geek eventually helped me get all the dependencies and configuration sorted out. This time around, I would like to hire the job out. You should have experience installing GIS server software on unix-variants. You should understand how the various parts plug in to each other — PostGIS, Redis, Windshaft, CartoDB, Ruby, etc. Applicants with experience installing CartoDB step to the front of the line. The server should be able to serve up maps that can be pulled into my public web site using the CartoDB.js API.

We need a solution for installing software on Mac computer during os deployment. We currently use LAN Desk to deploy OS and to deploy software to Macs. The challenge is that some of the software we need to install during initial deployment depends on the computer name *which creates a unique machine id. There are a couple ways to approach this. A. We could modify the installers (.pkg) files and automatically have them run after the computer has been renamed. B. We could use a python script to ask for the computer name, then install of the the packages afterward using the script. C. Use another scripting language (i.e., apple script, bash, etc). D. ??? The software we need to install is Sofos, Landesk agent and Centrify (for joining to the domain). Additionally, our process involves creating a mobile account (after it is joined to the domain) and enabling FIle Vault encryption. Please respond with your skype ID and similar projects that you've worked on previously
