We have up to 7 databases containing data that we wish to represent on a 2D CAD layout. Depending on the data, each row will have its own block representation on the layout.
I need a script developed, that when imported to AutoCAD, populates the attributes of specific blocks and locates the block on the drawing based on XY coordinates provided from the DB.
The blocks should be directed at the XY location using a LEADER line.
Phase 2: This is not apart of the initial scope but I would be interested in adding this scope if technically possible.
As the drawings will contain a lot of data, is it possible to locate these blocks within clean space on the drawing while still pointing the leader line at the XY coordinate location.
