Our vision is to build a single page web application that integrates with our existing proprietary Route Optimisation API and provides a simple, beautiful and intuitive user experience. We envisage a dynamic, map centric, front-end with simplicity as a guiding principal and a user experience defined by drag and drop interactions. We believe experience with embedded maps and layering information on the map will be essential. We have a preference for Angular or React as front-end frameworks but are open to suggestions of other widely implemented frameworks. For security reasons we are looking for a combination of a GPS and a RFID systems. Furthermore, if a road is closed for any reason (accident, construction, etc.) the system should offer the driver and/or the control computer back in the headquarters the possibility to offer them an alternative route. Moreover, we would like to have the possibility to track our employees via RFID to see if they have been picked up and where. We would also like to see where they have been brought to and when. In order to improve utilization, we would like to know which employee is travelling in which bus (type, size, etc.). I.e. we should have access via smartphone, tablet and PC on real time to all this information. It should be possible to send messages of any kind (warnings, changes, infos) on real time between each other user/device. All this should be available and should offer a 24/7 support.
