Alright accounting specialists I feel very stuck and I need help I'm based in Canada and most of my clients are in the US so I send invoices to Canadian clients in Canadian currency and The American clients in US. At this moment we are using I Quick-books Enterprise for accounting Where we just enter both US and Canadian currency and the convert it all to Canadian. My bookkeeper only shows certain profits when we convert from US to Canadian. While it somehow fits well in terms of financial accounting and managerial account this is a complete disaster. And when I can’t get a proper P/L forget about cash flow analysis To add on top of it I tried to move to QuickBooks online which is immensely difficult to Canadians and when I send invoices it only send in Canadian or it shows the Canadian equivalence which is unacceptable. So I come to this where I don’t know if QuickBooks is the right tool or we simply don’t know how to use it properly but I need a solution that will help me with the managerial accounting in multi-currency and let me work online I prefer to do this with QuickBooks but I’m open for any other tool you might think is better Quick summery of what I need 1) Let me enter and see results in both US and Canadian currencies (preferably with auto convert tools) 2) Being able to invoice easily in both US and Canadian currency without seeing the other currency 3) Get a proper balanced P/L that reflect my company every month 4) Get cash flow analysis 5) If possible, get client quantity analysis so I can do lifetime value 6) Get on the cloud P.S. if you help me with all that this could potentially be a continuous gig
