We ( are a rapidly growing national nonprofit that produces various volunteer events across the country. Less than 2 years old, we are already over 3,000 influential volunteers in 3 cities providing direct-assistance to any causes in our 3 segments: People, Animals and the Environment in need. To manage that growth, and to keep our curated culture intact, we developed a formalized leadership development program to empower and engage our volunteer base into leading the local chapters. The Leadership Development Program will have somewhere between 180-240 individuals committed (1 year long) within the next 8 months. We have detailed responsibilities for each role, accountability measures, feedback mechanisms and learning modules. However, this program needs to be further developed and enhanced greatly. The Leadership Development Program is the achilles-heal of this organization. If we cannot engage and keep our leaders, we cannot grow across the country as planned. This program needs a master architect that has built leadership programs (not sales programs, but leadership). We have a great sense of urgency to get this tightened up and ready for the new leaders. We need an individual to manage (remotely) that program by scheduling calls with the local leadership individuals, debriefing them on their responsibilities, keeping the volunteers engaged, keeping people motivated and excited about what they are doing. The administrative work will be keeping accountability spreadsheets updated and everyone completing their work, following up with disengaged volunteer leaders and using the framework provided to move people along. Our entire organization works remotely, so you will be like anyone else. If you feel you are right for this position, please send information on the leaderships programs you’ve studied under or helped established for certain organizations. This is a part-time multi-month position, not a quick one. It will start with 5-6 hours per week, then more as we grow. The job will be paid hourly.
