We are looking for a talented native English speaking writer who can write entertaining, highly detailed fight gear best lists for a MMA / Boxing website. Your job will be to write very detailed articles about Boxing, Muay Thai and MMA gear for the website. These will be 'best list' articles for fight gear products like boxing gloves, focus mitt pads, heavy bags, shin pads, etc. For this project, we'll need anywhere from 20 to 50 articles, with more topics to come after that. The articles about 4000-5000 words long. ------------------------------------------------------ Article Format ------------------------------------------------------ == Best Fight Gear Lists == For example: 'Best Shin Pads' or 'Best Heavy Bags for Boxers" or 'Best Punch Bags'. Each of these best lists which would be a top 5 or 10 list of products with detailed information about WHY each product is on the list, the main features, and so on. You give a complete breakdown on the types of products under that category, the pros and cons of each, other buyers information about general features to look for that product category, then a detailed list of the 5 (or in some cases 10) products, with reasons (200 or so words) why this is the case. Here are a few examples of what your article might be aiming to look like: bestboxingglovesguide.com/top-15-best-boxing-gloves/ evolvedmma.com/gear/the-top-5-best-mma-focus-mitts/ thewirecutter.com/reviews/amazon-kindle-is-the-best-ebook-reader == Fight Gear Reviews == We will also have you write product reviews for MMA/Boxing/Muay Thai products: fitness trackers, jump ropes, etc. These reviews will be detailed, about 2000 words. ------------------------------------------------------ Requirements ------------------------------------------------------ *Someone who has trained MMA/Boxing/Muay Thai/Kickboxing (preferred) We are looking for someone who's written about fight sports before. Even better, we prefer if you actually TRAIN these sports and have hands on knowledge with boxing gloves, shin pads, heavy bags, etc. *Experience Writing Best Lists Most of these articles will be best lists, so we are looking for someone who can do a great job writing in this format. *Ability to Research You WILL need to spend significant amount of time researching each product and the best products in a category for each list. Expect to spend at least 30-40 percent of your 'writing time' doing research! -look at what people on amazon are saying about a product -find out what knowledgeable bloggers (MMA/MuayThai/Boxing) are say about the product -research into what actual fighters use -list exactly what the real pros and cons of the product -write with a casual voice that conveys your knowledge -best list format similar to thewirecutter.com ------------------------------------------------------ Payment ------------------------------------------------------ For these lists, we are going to pay $80 per best list per 4500-5000 word list. Keep in mind it's going to likely take you 4-7 hours to write one of these lists when you count the research. Keep this mind -- these are NOT quick bang out in an hour lists! And if you do, your work will certainly be rejected. For the basic product reviews (2000 words), we pay $20. If you impress with your work, this will be a long term position -- we'll have at LEAST 20 articles and the possibility of more. ------------------------------------------------------ How to Apply ------------------------------------------------------ Please send me a detailed message stating WHY you are qualified for this job. I'm looking for people who know a lot about MMA / muay thai. I want to know specifically WHY you qualify for this job. I'll also request a sample of your work; if you look like you have potential, we'll do a PAID trial article best list. If you impress, you'll get MORE topics. If you are UNWILLING to do a trial article (you'll be paid), then don't apply.

I need a researcher with martial artist background/strong interest to help enter data into a martial arts website. 1) I have a lot of handwritten and typed notes that need to be entered as posts on a word press blog. These will need to be transcribed/edited and transformed into the proper format. 2) This person will also have to research forms and technique descriptions, from various martial arts styles, transcribe them into the proper format and content, and post as articles on the word press blog. 3) This may involve researching videos of the forms or techniques and properly transcribing the descriptions into readable content. 4) After all data has been entered, existing content should be double checked for formatting and content correctness. 5) If you do not have martial arts experience, you will need to quickly be able to come up to speed with the nomenclature that is used within martial arts. Martial arts experience is strongly preferred, but anyone with a strong background in internet research should be able to be successful in this position. NOTE: This is not a COPY AND PASTE position, you will be required to analyze any written descriptions, and transform them into a standard technique description before posting them onto the website.
