Develop the code/procedure to import data from a csv file and animate it in Cinema 4D.
The data in csv format has the following format:
Frames, ID, X, Y, Z
0, 0, 100, 200, 300
0, 1, 200, 500, 700
1, 0, 10, 500, 300
1, 1, 100, 400, 300
2, 0, 500, 300, 200
2, 1, 300, 200, 500
[3 frames (0,1,2) and 2 particles (0,1) position data (X,Y,Z)]
The procedure should be able to handle up to 1000 number of particles and 600 frames. The code/procedure must contain details and explanation, and should be easily customized to increase/decrease particles speed based on the frame rate and to change object shape of each particle (e.g. cube, sphere, …).
Ideally, the code would be in python, and create the number of particles / objects to under a fracture object so that these particles / objects can then be traced by a trace object.
In the attached file there are three csv files to test the code:
- 3_particles.csv [3 particles and 5 frames]
- 50_particles.csv [50 particles and 150 frames]
- 1000_particles.csv [1000 particles and 1500 frames]
and two python scripts that tried to accomplish that (they work to import the data but are not animating the particles correctly):
- script/code or detailed procedure that will enable to import and animate the particle trajectories
- .c4d file
Timeline: 3 days
