We like to test Fatcache (https://github.com/twitter/fatcache) as a SSD alternative to pure memory caching (Memcached).
We have installed Fatcache, but like expert insights in tweaking, adjusting and setting up everything for best possible performance. It does not seem stable?
We host our service at AWS (Amazon), and will dedicate a server for Fatcache.
Fatcahe is to handle multiple (15-20) instances of about 15 GB cache. Each instance are to keep 4-5 million keys, with 4 daily updates of data. Fatcache is also to handle requests, from web application, with queries on the updated data.
We have everything setup today, in production, but only using Memcached. Everything here works fine. However, as memory is expensive, we like to test Fatcache, as an alternative to Memcached, as we like to grow the number of objects cached.
We like you to help us doing so, setting up the service and a monitoring tool, enabling us to test Fatcache in dev and production mode.
Its key that...
