1. The goal of the project: Design a very simple countdown timer PCB that can interface with a smartphone. 2. Rough specification: PCB should aim to be smaller than 20mm x 40mm x 15mm (this is open to discussion and dependant on functionality and cost). Microcontroller Vibration motor 4 push buttons Bluetooth capability Power source LEDs Header to allow for re-programming of microcontroller 3. Function description: The user can set a countdown timer using the buttons. Flashing LED(s) give user feedback that the countdown has been set. The vibration motor is activated once the countdown has been reached and can only be stopped by the user by pushing one of the buttons. The name of which button was selected and the countdown duration is recorded and submitted to the connected smartphone. Typical countdown durations are 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes and 30 minutes. Note: The creation of the smartphone app is not within the scope of this project. This project will be listed separately on Upwork. When applying please mention your favourite film in your application. Thanks and good luck!

To develop through the use and adaptation of existing open source projects, electronics and software for controlling DC motors with feedback. Scope - consumer products, such as low cost mass production 3d printers, low-cost CNC machines for students and home use, various robotics projects. Tasks Use existing open source development of electronics and software in this field, in order to reduce development time of first pilot version to a minimum. Create a single electronic control board that will include servo drivers, feedback inputs, inputs from temperature sensors, outputs to extruder heaters and control of printing plate. Number of drivers for controlling servo motors - 5 (including 5 inputs from rotary position decoders and 5 control outputs to DC brushed motors) Number of inputs thermistors (temperature sensors) - 3 Number of outputs to сcontrol extruder heaters - 2 Number of outputs to control heating of the printing plate - 1 Type of connectivity to receive executable Gcode - USB Ability to use BT connectivity BT for wireless control and data transfer Ability to connect with existing reprap LCD smart display controller with rotary encoder (encoder to select from the menu) and an SD card reader Use of the cheapest brushed DC motors from Mabuchi 280 and Mabuchi 540. Use of the feedback device – off shelf, cheap, Chinese-made rotary position decoders. Power supply for the entire system - 12V Further details of the implementation to be discussed and finalized with freelancer.

I'd like to invite everyone to apply to my job. But here is the needed experience Experience Needed -Mechanical engineer -Consumer electronics -Electrical engineer -Product Development -Firmware Skills I'm the founder of Glo-Ryderz , our company goal is to make consumers ride with style with our newest innovative smart balance board and wheel's. The problem is that we have to redo the design of the smart balance board due to the fact that all of them have the motor inside the rim. Therefore our goal is to put the motor else where and redo the design but, we want it to function as a normal smart balance board by allowing this it lets our customer be able interchange wheels easily. in less than 30 seconds Requirements Needed For Prototype Product in Return For Exchange of Payment What we need in return is the schematics of the electronic design, part selection, pcb design, programming firmware compatible with iPhone and android, chassis design, wheel design, building of the actual prototype must look like the finished product, testing adjustment calibration, Rapid Prototyping The Prototype must go through vigorous testing to ensure safety of the end user. Testing also includes chassis stress, battery safety and it must be portable and lighter than the previous predecessor and at the end we have a finished prototype that looks like the final product we will produce and we have all the specification and the BoM to make this under 200$ and all schematics drawings and design of all components of how the smart balance board functions and also include auto cad drawings of the product so we can therefore manufactuer the prototype In Summary Build a High Quality finished prototype with all specification for manufacturing under (200$ USD) fully functional tested and developed ensuring end user safety and the product reliability, portability and efficieny than its leading predecessor and compare a side by side comparison of the quality and reliability test of life scenarios Happy Holidays regards, Kristian Pruitt Founder/Chief Executive Officer Glo-Ryderz LLC

I need a PCB designed for a bleeding edge project. You will be under NDA and working with soon to be released beta chips. Your participation will be confidential. We need to design a custom PCB to mount a chip, you should use CadSoft Eagle and work with our requirements to produce a custom PCB that can be manufactured. Previous experience in this field highly desired. This is a short term project with a tight deadline! You need to have excellent communication skills and highly detailed. I need an alpha version of this PCB by 1-5-2015.
