We are a growing Canadian digital marketing agency looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and grow into a solid position to manage and guide multiple client projects to successful completion. Our scope of services/projects include custom web solutions for businesses, mainly Website and CRM development projects. You should have several years of professional experience managing projects, ideally in an IT/Web/Software environment. Upworkers, I have a list of projects that I manage in my work, and things are getting out of control as I don't have PMO experience. I decided to hire someone to do it, rather than going and do it myself. Simply, I used Excel to log the details as follows: I have 8 main projects and each has multiple tasks to be done within this quarter Q1/2016. I entered the assigned persons for each tasks and how long it will take them to complete in number of days. I also agreed with them the exact targets that they need to achieve. To track the work, I have to update the work every week and to see who is falling behind and on what. Problem: I know this can be done much much better elsewhere such as MS Project. Excel takes so much long time and I need to spend so much time to update and track this. I simply can't do it. Solution needed from you: - I need someone expert in PMO to help me translate this excel sheet file into useful and simple MS Project, using the most useful tools that come with it. - The translated document should also include some way to track and to log the risks. Any additional tools that are relevant and can be used are very welcome, such as goals, etc. - This translated document will be for Q1/2016, but should be flexible to change the dates, and to allow the team member to modify where needed (such as deadlines, resources, etc.) - I consider this as a pilot and a learning exercise, and if it works I will reuse your services every quarter to update, modify, and delete projects and tasks.
