We are a looking for a UI/UX designer / developer for a one time project to build the user interface for a next generation medical imagine device. The device generates 3D images for breast cancer detection. Currently, a Windows desktop program controls the device's functionality, and a separate windows program acquires the imaging data from the device. We are looking to redesign the hardware and software setup for this workflow.
Ideally, we would have a 24"-27" touchscreen monitor for image display and review, image catalog, patient record creation and pushing the image to a PACS system. A smaller 7"-10" touchscreen beneath that controls the device itself: raise, lower the table, start, stop the exposure, adjust power, adjust rotation starting position. We are specifically looking to design a sharp, cutting edge user interface for these two screens. We have a team of software engineers who will code the backend, so will primarily be focused on front end development. The attached files show the machine itself and a rough set of concepts for UI (although none are considered final product).
