App Development project for 4IGM
NB NB, Before you look at rest of work, these are the basic requirements:
ALL development must be optimized for Apple & Android
All Apps must be optimized for mobiles and tablets, landscape and portrait view.
We are open discussions but if we look at a Hybrid App, it must be done in Ionic with a PHP MQSQL data base, unless you have a better solution for the project and white label Apps. But we prefer Native due to speed.
This project will be an ongoing project.
The current specs and workflows are just the starting point, and not a once off project.
We therefore need to make sure we are working a with a team, who can support each other, if one person is of sick the work does not stop.
We building a platform for easy white labeling with pre-build modules user can chose from.
When the user chooses to many options, they must be warned of a to large App, and maybe split app between Communication and Directory App with a link to each other.
So with the pre-build modules, Clients can either build a Communication app, a directory App or a combination of the 2.
But if All modules can be accommodated in one App, we try and build one app for better user experience.
1. 2VisitUs App – Current live in Apple and Android
a. Will need to be re-built with the module project
b. All current data must be pulled over to new Project as first White Label App
2. Communicator App
a. Modules to be built with current spec sheet included
3. Data base for 2VisitUs and Communication App
(This is our understanding and suggestions is welcome, as we can’t loos speed, but we need all the info together – We have a dedicated server with Inmotionhosting and a VPS server with Dreamhost)
a. We see one large database where Sub Directories will be created for each White label App. (Info can be shared across Apps, if there is better option, please let us know)
b. Apps only pull data from database as users require it, not all data is downloaded to an App at once.
c. Options - We can look at option, where users can download certain info to their Apps over Wifi, to use offline, suggestion is welcome. On 2Visitus, this can be done by city, user must just every time the went online then, be told if new info is available for download)
4. App development screen for 2VisitUs and communications App (I see something like a WordPress page builder concept.)
a. Users looking for a White Label App must be able to pre-build an idea of what they are looking for, with our pre-build layouts and modules.
b. The users can choose between 2 UI options.
c. Users can choose Which Main categories they want in their Apps. Main Categories and their sub categories will be pre-develop for white labeling.
d. Once users have made its choice, a Basic concept design is shown to them, from where the can submit and Process can start. SEE process flow attached
5. Admin Screen.
a. There will be in essence one admin screen for all users, info will only be shown to users as per module options they have made, and admin rights they have.
b. There will be Super Admin for 2Visitus to upload Info that will be used across all platforms, like towns, country, ……
c. Then there will be Main admin, that will allow users access to a specific white label main admin page, where the can upload Main advertiser, banner adverts and sub category adverts for instance per white label App and more.
d. Then there will be user admin Which will allow basic admin users certain rights within a white label to upload businesses, special events, start a chat room, and send push notifications and upload articles and more.
6. Budget and ongoing pricing
a. Once Off budget of $2000 to build the platforms as above as part of partnership agreement. We know this is a lot less than what the App will cost, but the ongoing Retainer fee will cover all cost and more in 6 month’s time, therefore we looking for a partner and not a developer.
b. A Once of fee of $135 for assisting, setting up and launce each white label App on the App stores.
c. $35 Retainer per Live App as we can make changes to certain modules, and this will have to be implemented on all White label apps (for instance if we change working of Events Module) or add something in Business listing.
d. We currently have 135 white labels Apps waiting for our products, to see how it looks, how user friendly it is, before they sign up.
e. Our Marketing team starts 15 October 2016, and need to products to be live and working to sell them by then. So time lines will be measured very strict.
