I am a electronic DJ looking for an experienced audio engineer to help me with the work of mixing music for my radio show and helping me arrange music for my live sets. This would be an ongoing project so if you do a good job this can be a source of a lot of work.
I spin many types of music for example Tech House, Techno, House, Deep House, Bass House, Hard, Future House, Progressive House, Electro, Big Room, Trap etc so you should be prepared to mix all of those types of music potentially.
The two primary things that I am looking for:
1. Ability to take tracks that I provide and mix them into a 30 minute to 1 hour show, in Ableton or something similar. Ideally you could provide the project files when delivering the finished product.
2. Same as above but for the purposes of a live show. The idea would be that you would provide a playlist where each song would have cue points for when to mix the song in and when to mix it out. I would provide all the tracks and maybe even already have them ordered, you would just need to mix them, potentially with different types of transitions. Switching the drop is a type I frequently use. If you use Serato then that is a huge plus, otherwise we would figure out how to get it into a format that I can load into Serato. Rekordbox format would also be fine as I can use that as well.
