About the Job:
* Develop direct customer relationships. Contact and build relationships with new customers.
* Log sales activities (phone calls, site visits, quotes) in our CRM.
* Be able to evaluate potential accounts. Understand account potential, competition, and business issues.
Ideal candidates have experience in the tech space and can speak with a general knowledge of software development. You'll have freedom to sell as you see fit, though we encourage the sales team to attend local business and tech meet-ups to meet potential clients in person. After making an initial introduction (in person or on the phone) to a potential client, everything else is handled internally (proposals, contracts, etc). We will provide you with business cards and a outline of what an ideal client looks like.
Our commission offering is simple: You receive 5% of any revenue generated monthly by a client you bring for the first and any subsequent projects (comission is limited to a maximum 6 month/project). Our projects generally range from $20-$250K, making the typical commission $1-$12.5K per project. Examples: if one project revenue is 20K/month you will receive 1K/month for first 6 months of this project, a total of 6K. If same project is for 5 months, you will receive 5K. If same project is for 8 months you will receive 6K (limited to 6 months). Still if you develop this contract and you bring more projects from same client you will receive 5-7% for each new project.
