I need someone to post news updates and information across the course of the Euro 2016 football (soccer) championships to a Wordpress blog. In total I need 60 articles at around 250+ words. They can be fun articles, using GIF's YouTube videos, reference news, information. I would like some to be Media Rich articles and some to be textual content, I would just like you to have fun reporting on the Euros. If you cannot make 250 words, and just make a BuzzFeed style article with photos etc. this is okay, but it must be engaging content. The one key requirement with my project is to give TIPS and BETTING news and ODDS about the Euro 2016 championships in your writing, not every article must include odds, but the focus has to be around odds and betting for the articles, at least one in four articles should. The articles can be be "news" based content, memes, results and can be 100% rewritten from existing articles on other websites, BUT they must make perfect English sense and be interesting to read. The articles cannot be 100% copy pasted from sites, these will be rejected and you won't be paid for 100% copied work, however, I understand if you've taken an article and added to it or rewritten it to make it unique added betting news and made it longer. This is encouraged. I do not mind where you are from (your country of origin) but I do need these articles to be written for an AUSTRALIAN AUDIENCE, so bare in mind when referring to "football" it should be "soccer", I will also provide you with a resource of places you can see Tips and Odds so you can include these in your articles. A strong command of English is very important for this job, and a full understanding of Wordpress CMS, knowledge of soccer (football) will help a lot. You must optimise each article written using the Yoast SEO plugin to make the article interesting to click through, and each article title must fit correctly in the search engine result pages, optimised title tag & meta descriptions - I have a video that will show you how to do this. You will be supplied with a list of keywords for the project, but these are "lose" keywords, for example the articles DO NOT have to be exactly about the supplied keywords, these are a guide to help you find and write articles, news and information to write and rewrite. I need the articles to have a "feature image" posted with each article, this is a simple process in the Wordpress CMS, the image should be named correctly before uploading. For example: THIS IS GOOD -> Sports-article-image-2016.jpg THIS IS BAD -> 12d1iwdpb1wd0w0_qwq.jpg The articles need to be released across the Euro2016 championships (at least 2 a day) I am happy if you wish schedule the articles to future post but the articles must address recent topics and things happening in the Euro2016 Championships (results, memes, videos etc.) If this goes well I have much more work available. Thanks and good luck.

Task: Write between 2 and 3 breaking news stories per day, (M-F) in the oil and gas sector. MUST HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR. There really isn't room for a learning curve on this one. This would be 300-word articles based on breaking news only (no analysis required, no unique angle). The stories are to be based on just-published news (from press releases, small regional publications, and large players such as Reutors/Bloomberg)--although the idea is to get it in before the bigger players get it. No spinning is allowed, although some content from company press releases may be re-used. Hyperlinks required to source information where appropriate. This is a two-week assignment only (at this point), as a test. Longer term, this is an ongoing assignment for the right person. For two weeks, the chosen candidates (2) will submit 2 or three articles every day between the hours of 8:00am EST and 5:00pm EST for news that broke over the last 8-10 hours. No old news will be included (if it's Tuesday, and an event happened Friday--it's too late), and nothing that is not actually news (like analysis pieces, opinion pieces, or pieces that discuss mere probable events). We are talking about actual events. For the foreseeable future, topics will be assigned right before, or during the specified writing hours listed above. Longer term, we may migrate toward having writers cover a specific beat and choose their own topics. We're still ironing this out. Headlines and leads are CRITICAL--must be catchy. So the key points are: 1. 300 words each 2. killer headline - two choices 3. straight news (no analysis; these are just straight-up news briefs) 4. should be ''breaking news''. This means that if something is huge, like a big move in the markets and it's already on Reuters, that's ok, but the bulk of stories should be things that haven't made it onto the mainstream wires yet. 5. types of news we are looking for: a. major geopolitical incidents (ISIS just bombed an import terminal in Libya) b. major oil spill, refinery fire, or similar c. supermajor oil company news (breaking) (Shell announces plan to sell $30bn in assets) d. oil rig count annoucements e. mergers/acquistions f. refinery/pipeline closures I can send you samples if you have questions. Please bid on 2 or 3 stories per day for two weeks (a total of 20 or 30 stories--please specify which you are bidding on.) Please do not send a bid per story. Articles, which will be published on a major energy news sector website, will include your byline if you so desire. Budget is estimate and obviously varies by number of pieces/quality of writing (i.e. how much time I will need to spend editing the pieces). Thanks! Juli
