NOTE: Please quote your price to complete one (1) shopping guide. We have lots more to get done, but will continue the job based on trial completion quality of the 1st description.
We’re looking for a writer to create high-quality “Insider Shopping Guides” for a long list of stores and services. The ideal candidate should be able to complete ~5 shopping guides per week for the foreseeable future.
Each guide should be a minimum of 800+ words, well written, engaging, include actionable tips, and most importantly, be helpful for the shoppers that will be reading it.
SECTION 1 - ABOUT STORE (2-3 paragraphs, broken into headers as you see fit)
-About the store (their reputation, how long they've been around, mission of the store, what they're known for, where they operate (locations), what markets/niches they serve, what is special about store/brand, etc)
-What they sell (what you would shop there for, who their customers are, what brands and categories are popular at the store)
SECTION 2 - HOW TO SAVE AT STORE (1-2 paragraphs)
-Ways to save money shopping at the store/website (things like rewards/points program details, sale sections, seasonal/holiday sales, email lists, best times to shop, do they offer volume discounts, buy one get one free, discounts for students, seniors, military, AAA members, corporate discounts, free shipping over a certain amount, etc.) Any evergreen tips that are useful for a shopper to know.
SECTION 3 - CONNECT WITH STORE (1 paragraph)
-How to connect with the store (customer service phone numbers, support hours, support email address, social media links + what do they share on social media/why follow them)
SECTION 4 - INSIDER SHOPPING TIPS (4-6 item list in bullet form)
-List at least 4-6 "Insider shopping tips" (some of these can be repeated from the things you dig up in the HOW TO SAVE section...things like apps theu have (link to iOS and Google Play store pages, email list discounts, points programs (with link), clearance sections (with link), outlet sections (with link), any other ways to score a discount, please feel free to link to the appropriate page (ie. if they have a rewards program, apps, sales page, etc., hyperlink to it if you think it would be useful to link to)
SECTION 3 - SHIPPING POLICY (1 short paragraph)
-Store shipping policies (do they offer free shipping? is there a minimum order size to get free shipping? what shipping speeds/methods are available? do they shit internationally. Try not to mention exact shipping costs, though, as those could frequently change...etc)
SECTION 4 - RETURN POLICY (1 short paragraph)
-Store return policy (pretty self-explanatory, what are the return/refund policies...how many days can you return/exchange for, what condition must product be in, is there a restocking fee, is shipping refundable, etc)
Things we’re looking for:
-Thoughtful use of headings. Each paragraph should have a thoughtful and engaging heading.
-Spelling and grammar checked.
-Good readability (minimum of 60-80 on the Flesch-Kinkaid Scale, see below for link).
-Minimum 800+ words per shopping guide.
-100% unique content (nothing copied from anywhere on the web). We will be using Copyscape to check that all guides submitted are 100% unique.
-Shopping guides should be written so that they remain as reasonably "evergreen" as possible. We want it to be as useful to someone reading it in a year as it is for someone reading it today. For example, if they're running a 20% off sale this June, don't mention that, but you could mention that they often have seasonal clearance sales).
