I have a WebGL prototype that I would like converted to a prototype written in Apple's SceneKit.
It does not have to be fully featured, but it does have to make use of the 3D effect, aka, the "Animal Crossing effect".
PLEASE NOTE: The world is not cylindrical, it is a flat world that is rendered to look cylindrical via shaders.
I can send code for my SceneKit attempt...but you'll see whilst it nearly looks right, it fails the texturing part and the individual nodes are not rendered the same as the WebGL version...they are more bent when they shouldn't be.
I should be able to run the app, and move like in the WebGL version.
IT can be written in Objective-C or swift, or a combination of both.
It does not need any of the animation that the WebGL version has (Spinning monkey head), so you can use placeholder basic textured models. The ground can just be a simple textured plane.
To run the sample app:
open: hills.html, hold down option (mac) and hold and move the left mouse button for the movement effect textured
Please message me if you have any questions.
