i have a 3040 cnc machine here i just got from ebay. i want to make pcbs with it and have everything installed including mach 3. everything runs great. i even know how to make the necessary g-code files. but i have a few problems
how deep my cnc goes to drill/scaling/finding the board outline file. it only barely goes downwards in the z axis, it doesnt make much of a hole...
also, scaling, how can i make it as big as its supposed to be? i know in mach3 you can scale it but its by percentages lol
and how can i get the board outline file? thanks
oh and one more thing, when i import the g-code into mach3 there's no way i can make the edge of the board line up with the edge of my cutting area, it just stays half way on the cutting area and half way off. when i try to move it all it does is extends itself lol
if you can answer these questions and maybe even help me at the same time im trying to figure it out (live) then that would be great.

I am looking for a skilled PCB designer to design a custom HDMI driver for 21.5inch LCD panel.
The Board must contain (1)one HDMI port and RCA A/V port as well as connections to display and controller board.

I have attached a high level block diagram for what components are needed on the PCB. I am looking for a small design, about 1" by 1" that has a nordic semiconductor's NRF51822 SOC + an accelerometer and debug port.
There are reference schematics for both accelerometer and the BLE chip online. There are some designs online that have same accelerometer if you are looking for inspiration for the design. One such design is here.

We have a requirement for a variety of touch capable displays for the Raspberry Pi ranging in size from 2.2" to 10". To start with we want to work on the versions - 5", 7" and 10" screens which will have touch connectivity available both over a USB connection as well as through the HDMI DDC/I2C interface.
The chosen contractor needs to be very familiar with the HDMI specification - in particular the CEC / DDC channels. We will hopefully end up with a screen that can carry the touch data through the DDC channel to the Raspberry Pi, as well as having a USB interface for the touch as well.
The contractor will also need to be capable or creating firmware for the devices and software drivers for the Raspberry Pi to allow the touch interface to act as if it was a mouse for the Raspberry Pi. The devices will also need to work in a similar way for any other Linux, Windows or Mac based devices.

I have embarked on a robotic TIG welding project, and I need help to develop a programmable power supply for the machine. I am no electrical engineer, but believe that I need a high-frequency IGBT-based inverter capable of approximating the performance of the Miller Maxstar 280 or Lincoln Electric Invertec V270-TP power supplies:
- Input voltage: 415 V
- Input: 20 A
- Phase: 3
- Output mode: CC
- Output range: 5 – 270 A
- Output duty cycle: 100% at 170 A
- High frequency arc start
It is imperative that the power supply must be able to respond to commands from the welding machine to control the output current in the same manner as possible with either the Maxstar or Invertec units. That is, it must be capable of producing a current with a controllable ‘upstroke’, ‘pulse’, and ‘downstroke’.
As I said; I do not come from an electrical background and require guidance on how to specify and design this power supply to bring my project into fruition.
