Looking for someone available weekdays 5 pm - midnight and to be on call on weekends US Mountain Standard time. The work is simple but important. We need someone to answer texts and emails from guests inquiring about vacation rentals and to respond to their questions once they have booked and are staying. The weekend work is on call which means you would need to have your phone turned on all weekend so that if any texts come in that you are able to answer it - guests will text if something is urgent and you will know when we have guests staying so that you can keep your phone on during those days which means 48 hours on the weekends. Emails do not need to be checked during sleeping hours. This may turn into more work as time goes on but because the tasks are simple and small it will only be a few hours a week to start. To give you an idea, this week we have had no texts at all after hours. Sometimes we get a few but the complex is small, only 5 units, so we will have other admin work for you to fill out the hours that can be done outside of the hours listed above and to be completed within 24 hours of assignment. TASKS: Send out scheduled emails. Send out scheduled text messages. Answer guest questions. Be available at all times and respond to questions within 10 minutes of receipt. Alert Superior to any major problems that need to be tended to immediately. SKILLS AND TALENTS: You must have a good command of written and spoken English - though written will be more important. Must have good follow up. Must be naturally caring. Must be a good communicator. Critical thinker. Problem Solver. Open minded and willing to take constructive criticism and to improve. We are looking for someone with whom to have a long term relationship of several years and who would still be happy if the hours only added up to 5-10 hour a week. My Assistants in the past have been with me for 6 years and the current one has been with me for a year and a half, she will still be working with me but needs some help with these after hour tasks. It is highly important that if you apply for this position that you are actually available for the hours stated. The job is not big but it is very important as you are dealing with guests who are coming to stay in a "hotel apartment" in a major US city - this month we are hosting people from 16 different countries. They need to feel cared for and their needs must be met. We get publicly rated on our service and want to provide top notch service.
