I'm the owner of a small web development company in need of sales assistance. To help you understand the position a little better, let me explain where we started and where we are. This company started out with me and my wife doing E-Commerce work for a couple of websites three years ago. It's since grown to a four-man team with some pretty big projects and a lot of code behind us. Despite our relative success, I'm still doing this part time and most of our developers are off shore. That leaves us with a severe gap when it comes to clients who need assistance during normal business hours in the sales process. So far, I've been getting by pushing clients to evening hours but it's time for that to stop. We're about to ramp up an ad campaign that I expect to generate a decent number of leads. I need someone who understands websites well enough to sell them and can be available during normal US business hours to assist clients via phone & Email. Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical. While I am hoping to work with someone who can function as a long term account manager for the clients they onboard, I don't expect you to act as tech support, maintain 24/7 phone availability, etc. Work would probably start at about 30 minutes/day and would grow as leads come in.
