Here's a good job offer for newcomers who need to bulge up their portfolios. I have an illustration (hand-drawn as line art) to color, and then applied text to it in two languages.
First, you color me that illustration. Coloring style must be deep yet vibrant, something that looks good yet springs out even at thumbnail size.
After the illustration is colored, you apply text to the illustration, resulting in two variants of the illustration: One with German text and one variant with English text. The text must be worked in photoshop, so that it has an outline and other slight embelishements, like sparkling or glittering.
The job begins soon as I hire you and must be finished within a week after we start work. (But remember, the sooner we finish this project, the sooner I can pay and feedback you!)
The colored illustration must be delivered in two versions: A scalable Vector file (two layers: One layer for the colored illustration, one layer just for the text) with the cover text in German, and a scalable Vector file (two layers: One layer for the colored illustration, one layer just for the text) with the cover text in English.
The colored illustration with text must be delivered as both high-resolution GIFs and as scalable layered vector files. The job begins soon as I hire you and must be finished within a week after we start work. (But remember, the sooner we finish this project, the sooner I can pay and feedback you!)
Please attach an old coloring sample from something you did earlier to your bid/message, so that I can judge whether you can do this job. That coloring sample must show a line art illustration before and after your coloring, done in the coloring style I requested above. Don't just link to your online-portfolio: I won't visit it.
Upon payment, all rights to the web headers go to me. Budget is limited to 5$ for the set, but a positive (and detailed) feedback is assured. But the feedback is NOT part of the payment. It is something I give customarily for a very well-done job, my way of giving back for the good job that was done for me.
And it has proven on other places to be a BIG help in getting new work for artists.
Okay, looking forward to your bids. Don't forget to answer all questions, to attach at least one old before/after coloring sample of your past work (unanswered questions and/or missing old art samples will cause me to take you from the list of applicants) and Good Luck!
