Home Snappers is a real estate photography company looking for a photo editor who is familiar with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. This job requires to work overnight (US Central Standard Time) on real estate photos in order to be sent out the following morning. The programs needed will be provided as well as training that is specific to this job. In addition to editing the photos, the editor will also be making the virtual tours that go along with the photos, which is a very simple task.
Editing will be completed by remotely logging into our computer each night and editing the photos taken that day. Right now, there is an average of 5-10 houses photographed each day with 20-30 photos taken per house. However, the number of houses per day is continually growing. The pay for this position is $0.35/photo.
The editor must be detail oriented while still working quickly and efficiently. All photos must be edited by the following morning (CST). A long term position is available to a good fit.
At the link below you will find at lightroom catalog and two lightroom presets. Please open up the catalog and import the two presets. Please apply the presets accordingly and use that as a starting point for each photo.
Our needs for the photos are as follow:
Our goal is to have as natural of a look as possible.
-As much detail in the highlights and shadows as possible without compromising good contrast.
-The windows need as much detail as possible without creating dark areas around the window.
-The vertical lines in the photos need to be straight up and down. (walls, doors, etc.)
-The color in the room needs to have as little of a color cast as possible without removing all of the saturation from the photo.
-The vertical lines in the photos need to be straight up and down. (sides of houses)
-Grass needs to look healthy.
-Photos need proper levels of saturation. Not too much, not too little.
-Signs need to be removed from front if visible.
When completed please export the photos as a catalog and send back to us. Can be through Upwork, Dropbox, or other file sharing site. Also send us a message with how long you expect a job of this size to take you once you are comfortable with our preferences and let us know if you had any difficulties or questions about the editing.
When we receive back the photos we will be looking at the finished photos and deciding who will move on to the next round of the interview.
