Here's a good job offer for newcomers who need to bulge up their portfolios. I've got 8 illustrative logos (hand-drawn as line art). I've attached a low-resolution preview of them as JPG to this project, so that you can take a look at them before you bid. When we start work, I'll send you the full graphic files.
This job has 3 stages: First, we'll update most of the logos (7 of 8 logos).
Then, we'll colorize them.
After that, we'll have a foundation to work from, and turn the colored 2D-logos into 3-D photorealistic logos.
In stage 1, you'll update 7 of the 8 logos (one of them needs no update at all): One logo needs it's text re-formated and a tag line added to it,one logo needs to be new-drawn and a tag line added to it, two of them need their central illustrative element updated (the big frog must be changed so that he lifts a sparkling, golden globe above his head), one logo needs a different tag line scroll and the tag line's text font changed as well as a single graphic element updated, and two logos need their existing tag line re-set in a new font provided by me.
One logo doesn't need any updating at all; it merely does need to be colored and to be transformed into a photorealistic logo.
When the first stage is finished, the logos are now ready to be processed. We now begin stage 2. In stage 2, you'll color the logos. When that is done, the logos are ready for the final step.
In stage 3, we will proces the colored line art logos to photorealistic logos like the logos from the movies. This means that the logos will be colored again, but this time in a photorealistic style.
In this stage, the Coloring style must be photorealistic, as if the logos were movie logos. It must include all, most or just some of the following logo qualities, depending on the individual logo: Metallic with glistening highlights; Distressed; Glowing; With a natural, photorealistic Structure (Stone, Wood, Steel, Water, etc; we'll decide what structure when the point comes up). Here is a link to a good photorealistic logo; Although it doesn't have any metalic aspects, it is 3-dimensional and has a good structure:
The job requires two things:
First, you need to be able to draw, because you're going to do several re-drawings of certain visual parts of illustrative logos; For example, you're going to change the frog on two of the logos).
Second, you need to be quite good in Adobe Photoshop, because you're going to turn my colored logos into photorealistic logos.
I need the colored standard (line art) versions one week after I gave you the un-colored logos. I need the colored logos as GIFs and as full, layered PSD and fully scalable SVG files.
And I need the photorealistic logos within 2 weeks after we started. I need the photorealistic logos as GIFs and as full, layered PSD and fully scalable SVG files as well.
Please attach an old illustration sample (a sample that depicts a line art illustration before and after your coloring) to your bid/message, so that I can judge whether your coloring style is right for this job. Don't just link to your online-portfolio: I won't visit it.
Upon payment, all rights to the finished product go to me. Budget is limited to 50$, but a positive (and detailed) feedback is assured. Although the feedback is NOT considered part of the payment but is something I give customarily for a very well-done job. And it has proven on other places to be a BIG help in getting new work for artists.
Okay, looking forward to your bids. Don't forget to answer all questions, to attach at least one old before/after coloring sample of your past work (unanswered questions and/or missing old art samples will cause me to take you from the list of applicants) and Good Luck!
