So I’ve got this problem. I have a wordpress site with woocommerce plugin and I’m uploading products via csv file. At the moment I’m using ‘wpallimport' and testing 'woocommerce import suite' plugins. Both of them has their own problems which sometimes drives me mad.
About my file. It consists 117 columns of data including attributes(around 23), custom fields, images max 13(links to download from google drive) per post, . the biggest csv file I was trying to import via wpallimport was 204 lines. server terminated the process after around 30listings and I had to repeat the process again and again. Talking about 'woocommerce import suite'. I couldn’t fine how to control import speed so it does it the way it wants. it’s quite fast however it skips a lot of information. I've tested it few times. It imports just a part of custom data, not all attributes gets imported and the main bug is that it imports images in some mysterious way. it brings an error message:
"Failed resize: 1827 is an invalid image ID.
Failed resize: 1841 is an invalid image ID.
Failed resize: 1852 is an invalid image ID.
Failed resize: 1863 is an invalid image ID.”
however it does import images to my shop but nobody knows where. you can see it in product page but when I'm trying to upload it to ebay it says "ExternalPictureURL not found (#21916544) The server specified by ExternalPictureURL reports there is no such file”. 'wpallimport' however does import products in full and good condition to be exported to ebay so I don't thing there's something wrong with csv file itself. I’m using plugin called “wp lister” to export woocommerce products to ebay that’s basically the reason why I’m using this whole system. but that plugin is also not very effective. it does a bit more in those 5min before server terminates the proccess but still no more than around 150 listings. I need someone to take at look at this shop to investigate the problem and sort it out. For now I need this system to be optimised to be able to import atleast 300listings at the time without any terminations, just to add products to the database. later on it will have to deal with one csv file with all inventory so we’re talking about 2k listings for now with an idea to grow up to 10k. Please send me your work experience with wordpress(especially imports) when applying for the job.
