The job is to create an infographic displaying the steps of Western blotting accompanied by information on the protocol, relevant Boster Bio products, comparisons between similar products or methods, and troubleshooting tips.
Each step should be represented by an elegant graphic which should express a key process or phenomenon associated with that step. Each step should be linked in such a way as to indicate progression from one step to another. Each step will be accompanied by text elements: an abbreviated account of the protocol for that step, and the three most relevant Boster products. Some steps will feature a brief comparison between two related but different products or methods, and some steps will feature the most common troubleshooting tips for that step. You will need to use your understanding of Western blotting and the resources on the Boster website to decide which elements you will include for which step of the Western blot process. Written content should be as brief and concise as possible while still presenting useful and insightful information.
General design guidelines: The primary color of the design should be blue, with text in orange, green, or grey, and accents or opposed elements in grey or black. The color choices for the step representations is to your discretion, as is the content and form of the overall design.
The job will be completed in drafts. The first draft should be a rough outline of the layout of the graphic. It should demonstrate where each element will go and how they will be associated with one another, your ideas on the step graphics, and the relative location and size of the text elements. The second draft will contain the text itself, refinements to the step graphics and overall design, and will incorporate comments made to the first draft. The final product will incorporate any comments made on the second draft, and will be a polished, ready-to-publish infographic.
