I have a small showroom and 3 talented designers. We offer interior design ( specializing in kitchen and bathroom design ) , We offer products as well for all your remodeling need
( cabinets, counter tops , tiles, plumbing fixtures etc )
We also offer installation services..
Right now we are selling to home owners .. but I think we missing on a big part of the market ..
I can only sell my services ( design, materials and installation ) to 5-6 home owners..
But I can sell to remodeling contractors ( desing and materials only ) ( assuming they are doing the installation ) 12-16 projects per month ..
Can be a win -win situation - beccouse a remodeling contractor is not a designer and he does not have access to the materials we sell to buy directly from manufacturer.. ( as we do ) .
Usually a remodeling contractor send the client to several showrooms to pick up tiles, cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, paint,
If permits are needed they have to hire a designer or architect for drawings.
They deal with 5-7 places - A lot of headaches and often remodeling contractor does not make any Money from giving this business to those showrooms.
With us - they can send the client here and we can design and sell all the materials to their client .. and we can coordinate deliveries with contractor, returns,, resolve issues etc.
Plus depending on the profit we make on the job from selling those materials we can send a kick back to contractor - as a comission from the sales they gave us ..
So what is best ? dealing with several showrooms with increased chances of screw up or dealing with real designers ( NOT SALESPERSON ) and a one stop shop .. where their client gets a white glove service ? plus remodeling contractor can make a decent amount of money... from $250 to $5,000 in kick back .. ( depending on the size of the project ) ..
e.g - for a small remodeling bathroom with not a lot of materials you make $250 .. and for a large custom kitchen high end - you can make up to $5,000 in kick back ..
So . we can get into more details .. but I need someone that can put together a strategy and sales letters and scripts for phone calls so I can hire a telemarketer/sales person that can use this and go after the 3,000 local contractors.
