There is a need to compile a database of fine art images in the public domain depicting Bible story scenes. The images will be gathered from the Internet by the winning bidder using custom software that will be provided by the contractor. The custom software is a Windows based application that will need a relatively high-speed Internet connection (cable/fiber optic).
A list of URLs (web site addresses) will be provided to the winning bidder. The URLs will be entered into the custom software, which is essentially a stripped-down web browser with a database attached to it. These URLs will be web pages containing image collections in the form of thumbnails. The task will be to either add the image seen on the page or the URL, or else find the largest version of these images available on the Internet via images.google.com or images.bing.com, and then, using this same custom software, add the image to a database along with keywords, a description and references.
A complete description of the project can be found in the attached Word document along with a link to a video showing details on the process.
