Sales executive responsible for reaching out to prospects and potential customers to understand their business needs and how our products and services can help them drive profitability on their paid and organic search marketing campaigns.
The position will be responsible for identifying, researching and contacting new prospective clients. Once successful the BDM (Business Development Manager) will be able to lead complex commercial engagements, develop launch strategies with clients and identify their internet marketing, ecommerce, development and strategy projects. Note: MUST be ABLE TO CLOSE DEALS.
The job requires strong “sales” skills.
The job requires top notch presentation skills. We don’t want people who just present but who make it an interactive experience and learning session for us and the client.
The job requires focus on new business rather than growing existing accounts, as such, it will require existing executive level relationships within the marketing field.
The job requires a strong understanding of the sales cycle, the patience for a 1 year sales cycle and the responsiveness of a 15 day sales cycle.
The job requires the ability to sell in to multiple levels of an organization.
The job requires being comfortable working in a small company and building something great.
The job requires prospecting, lots of prospecting. We will give you some leads but the expectation is that you will be primarily tasked with finding new leads and introducing them.
You are an experienced salesperson with a solid understanding of Internet Marketing and technical understanding of how search engines and branding campaigns actually work. You are well trained in various sales methodologies but have developed your own process based on what you have learned. You have sold professional services in prior positions, can present to, but prefer to listening to your client. You can work autonomously yet be accountable and like to learn from your team-mates. 2+ years of quota carrying sales experience. At least 10 projects closed successfully.
Experience in selling paid search and/or search marketing services.
Background in selling online advertising, advertising technologies, and/or online marketing consulting will also be considered.
You have customers that you may not be selling to anymore but still talk to.
We don’t want people that can sell but don’t know search. If you apply we will know you didn’t read this.
Decision maker level contacts in the search marketing and/or online marketing space that know you and like to do business with you.
University educated preferred.
GREAT PAY: Salary+bonus+commission. Note: MUST be ABLE TO CLOSE DEALS.
