We've recently migrated to salesforce. In our current workflow, most work is done in the lead. When it's converted, it automatically creates an opportunity with an associated Project (a custom project object we have made). We want to move most of the lead functionality to the opportunity. We're looking for a developer who can help us execute the current steps needed to get there as well as advise us on any potential issues we haven't thought of. We have a custom proposal object with a lookup field to the lead. Our plan is, on a specified date, to convert all leads that have ANY proposal already created for them - E.G. they may have 1 proposal or 10 on the proposal related list on the lead record. We need to convert these leads with our current conversion logic via apex (mass convert leads that meet that criteria). The developer will need to work with us to troubleshoot potential issues as we have several requirements to currently convert a lead. Also, we'll need to update the proposal object with a lookup field to the opportunity and, via Apex, lookup proposals with converted leads and attach to the corresponding opportunity (the opportunity created from the lead during the conversion process). Basically, the sales people need to be able to find all the proposals that were attached to the lead on the new opportunity. The custom proposal object is also taking values from the lead, doing calculations, and pushing new values back to the lead. We'll need to make this work with the opportunity as well - e.g. if there is an opportunity value in the lookup field, use the values from the opportunity and not the lead. Also, push values back to the opportunity and not the lead. A smooth transition from lead to opportunity will be critical for this project. We expect to be able to run the necessary apex in one evening and the next day the sales reps will be able to work in the opportunity. They should see all their proposals and be able to create new ones that pulls values from the opportunity instead of the lead. We're looking for someone with with fluent English and can communicate during normal US business hours and responds to questions and issues in a timely manner.

Looking for a Sales Force Solutions Developer who can streamline our SalesForce interaction and processes for our sales team. Currently gathering a lot of information on calls and looking to downsize current method with a streamlined, custom, intuitive App or Interface so we can collect & edit data faster while on the phone with customers and new leads. Now testing CallRail Beta App in Sandbox and calls are auto generating Leads in our Lead Queue. This already speeds up the process. Lead is auto created if phone number not found in SalesForce. Now need to take this to the next level to make this work with current processes. Experience with CallRail is a huge benefit. Currently if a user calls in and that phone number is NOT in our system, a Lead is created. If a user calls in and that phone number IS in our system, the Call is logged as a Call on the Contact Page under Activity History. We are looking for increased Call Rail functionality for: 1. New Numbers - Method for Matching or Checking (Looking Up) Existing Accounts / Companies and assigning. (To avoid the creation of dupe company accounts & contacts) 2. Existing Numbers - Matching to Correct Contacts. Currently if 1 account has 3 contacts and all contacts have same phone number in salesforce, it add the "Call" to the Activity History of the 1st record. Need a way to make sure we can assign CallRail data to the correct contact, not just the 1st contact found with that phone number. 3. Existing Numbers - Identifying/Displaying those calls while they are in progress. (Since no Lead is created, need a display "Active Calls" just like there is a Lead Queue.) This will allow us to simply click the active call to go to the account or contact page. No searching necessary. Might just need a Call Activity Screen/Interface that combines the new leads and active calls. This would be where all salesmen can see the New Leads and Active Calls from existing leads on one page. This can be where they can click and go... no searching needed. Current Lead and Quoting Process is convoluted and not very efficient or user friendly. I am thinking an "Overlay" App (for Leads and Quoting) that runs on top of our SalesForce Interface. Am thinking the App will be a bridge between the salesmen entering the data and that data getting passed / populated into our system as needed. I am looking for a true SalesForce Guru / Developer and Solutions Provider with experience in streamlining sales process and salesforce capabilities. This project is only in the Fleshing Out stage and I will need to work this out with the right candidate. I will be able to do a screen share on our Sandbox account to show you our current process so that you can gain a better understanding of what we do and see how the process can be improved with the creation of a Custom App. The right candidate should be able to see our current Lead Page, Quote Page and walk through the process with me and in 5 minutes, know whether or not they can make vast improvements. Current Layouts and Processes are outlined in a Google Doc We have our own SalesForce Administrator here that know all the ins and outs of the system in place with many custom objects tied into our entire operation which includes FinancialForce. The right person moving forward will work with myself and our salesforce guru to make this happen... Current workload for our Salesforce admin is too great and we need an experienced developer to step in and work with me independently as needed to work on this project.
