We are a startup medical device company searching for a consultant to help us implement functionality using Salesforce and Geopointe. We wish to be able to locate the closest doctor to a hospital. We have lists of doctors and hospitals in our database, and will make associations among them, and create "call lists" for salespeople to visit certain accounts. We understand the following: 1. This is possible with Apex code. We will have the ability to run a radial search, pull in all returned results, and write back the first value to a look-up field. This is custom coding that would need to be completed by you, but it perfectly doable. The code required is on this page: http://help.arrowpointe.com/customer/portal/articles/1809593-apex-api. 1a. The alternative method isn’t 100% automatic, but requires some map interaction. Geopointe has the concept of Map as Lookup, that allows you auto run a search, select the doctor you want, and that will write the doctor back to a lookup field. Info on that method can be found here and Geopointe could help develop that with you: https://www.arrowpointe.com/2010/06/22/map-as-lookup-field/ 2. Geopointe has the ability to export a CSV of results. We’d make this an autorun search that you could do with the click of a button. 3. If you did the #2 option above, you could choose to only export the first returned result. As you can tell, this project will require to to interface with us, our Salesforce system, and Geopointe. Good communication skills are required, as well as technical knowledge. When you are hired, we will contract for Geopoint, and require this project to be completed, tested and de-bugged within 3 weeks.
