I need someone who can help me migrate a Rational Functional Tester common Java library into a library that can be used by Selenium. The work requires that you take RFT commands and turn them into Selenium code. For example, in RFT the command that retrieves the attributes from a screen object would be something like: scrObj.getProperty(".text"); While in Selenium, it would be something like: scrObject.getAttribute("text"); In the process of conversion, I also need to make that "common" utility more Java standard. RFT allows me to do things that are not allowed in full Java. You will be working with me and you need to be available during my early morning or late afternoon. I reside in California at GMT-7 PDT.

We have an existing Ruby Travel Insurance application which has been collaborated on by a number of different developers over the past 4 years. Due to this we have complexity and duplication issues within the code that need refactoring to improve its overall quality. We will test the quality of the refactored code using a number of tools - the outcome of this must be of the highest quality. We also require you to implement automated and continuous selenium and transaction testing to alert us via email immediately should there be an error / issue with our application. In the future this will also be emailed to the selected developer to investigate and provide advice. The selected developer will be given access to our code base to accurately estimate the time required to complete this job at a fixed cost. An additional contract and NDA will be signed between the successful developer and ourselves before work commences.
