We are looking to launch a series of sub-domain sites that are similar to our main site at www.sacredrides.com. We offer multi-day mountain bike tours around the world and want to operate day trips in some of these locations, via separate subdomain websites (e.g. newzealand.sacredrides.com or nepal.sacredrides.com).
These sites would be very similar to the main site, and would have similar content (each would have its own unique blog, unique front page, and unique trip listings, but would also have similar, or in some cases identical, content)
I'm concerned that having a number of sites with identical content might result in a Google penalty, so I am looking to hire an SEO consultant to help us:
a) launch these sites in a way that doesn't result in any penalties
b) optimize the sites for SEO so that they can get ranked for relevant search terms (eg. 'New Zealand mountain biking').
As well as provide advice on how we can SEO-optimize our main site, and possibly implement...
