Mom's Beauty Club, a startup in the DC, MD, VA area, is looking for an experienced work-from-home social media consultant. This is not a full-time position and an experienced contractor or small agency would be the best fit. Inexperienced candidates will not be considered.
We are looking for 3 qualities in a candidate:
1. A philosophy for social media engagement. How will you get people engaged? What is the path from engagement to eventual purchase? Who else will you get involved to facilitate more engagement with our brand? How will you measure engagement and track success? You should have answers to these types of questions.
2. Demonstrated experience generating business outcomes via social media. Please provide examples of Facebook pages, Instagram accounts, and Pinterest acconts (at minimum) that you have managed. If you also have experience with other social media profiles, we would like to see those as well.
3. Growth mentality. We do not expect instant success, but you must have an ongoing and relentless focus on engaging with and thinking about the customer. If something isn't working, the reason why should relate back to a theory about the customer experience, and your next steps should relate to your new theory about the customer. You should also be able to produce reports that track growth over time.
