Looking for experienced industrial designer to design the case for a handheld consumer electronic device. This will be an iterative process as we need to prototype and evaluate optical sub-assemblies along the way. Knowledge of design constraints for mass production is important. We already have a general plan for the components so looking for someone who can execute and provide guidance on optimization for product manufacturability and feedback on potential weak design points. The plan is to start with some sub-assemblies that we can print locally to test with and then prototype the case exterior so we can manufacture one for photos. Finally, complete the internals to house the new hardware and optics.

Looking for someone to design a 2-part thermostat enclosure. It will look similar to the common Honeywell design. The first part is a back-plate that mounts to the wall. The next is the front piece that has cutouts for 4 buttons and lcd and allows our pcb to snap into it. This front piece then snaps into the back-plate. The right person needs to have experience in parts that snap together with good tolerances and can keep the design simple to keep production costs down. Please provide examples and descriptions of your previous work.
