We're looking for an expert Symfony2 developer to join our team. You must have extensive Symfony experience, already have an active github account that you yourself actually contribute code to, and ideally would be Symfony-certified. We have a multi-tenant SaaS and each project needs to have its own public-facing site, with the ability to add and edit pages and order/add menu items. Our existing application uses a Wordpress front-end, but the security and authentication issues are problematic, our clients just need an easy way to add their own pages. Your first task will be to modify the Symfony CMS Demo App (https://github.com/symfony-cmf/standard-edition) in a public github repo. The demo app has hard-coded fixures (from a YAML file at https://github.com/symfony-cmf/standard-edition/blob/master/src/Acme/DemoBundle/Resources/data/pages.yml) to define the pages, you'll be modifying it to come from a database via an ORM (Doctrine is okay, but we'd prefer Propel). Administrative...

Hi there, we want to calculate some benchmarks for the data sets in our database. The database is an EAV-model. That mean, there is no fixed hierarchy. The structure is given by multiple parent-child relations. The calculations to conduct are well documented and do not require any degree in maths. Sound programming, counting and average, adding and multiplying will do. In order to get all data for the calculation you will need to add some buttons in our existing interface. For representing the results you also need to add three simple tables to different places in the front-end. The last step is to create a simple control page in the existing admin interface that allows us to check the intermediate calculation results as well as some control numbers. You will need php, symfony2, mySQL, twitter-bootstrap, html5. We provide you with access to our git server. We expecting you coding to be conform to CamelCase and OOP with meaningful names for variables and methods as well...
