As part of a larger project, we are interested in a feature to provide a temporary Windows logon by adding a Windows logon tile to the Windows desktop. This logon tile accesses a certificate installed on the TPM for a limited number of logins in a limited duration of time. The allowed number of times can be picked up from a Registry entry. Scope of Work: The scope of work for this project is to wrap an existing Microsoft SmartCard Credential Provider which provides a logon using a virtual smart card certificate installed on the Windows Trusted Platform Module (TPM). The new Credential Provider will limit the number of logons (per user) and the duration that logons are allowed. The new Credential Provider will display a message, such as “Temporary logon”. There will be a logon tile for each user that has a virtual smart card cert configured on the TPM. Login will be allowed using 2 methods: 1. A PIN to be entered (the PIN has already been specified as part of the TPM cert installation) 2. By exchanging keys with a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device. The new Credential Provider will have additional displayed status text, such as: ● “You have 3 logins left” ● “You have 2 days left” ● “You are no longer allowed to logon, please see your administrator” Once the max number of logons has been reached, or the max duration has been exceeded, the login tile will either be disabled, or a failure message displayed (e.g., “You can no longer logon”) if the tile is selected. The TPM will be disabled after 3 failed attempts and then disable logons for that user using the TPM. The “locked account” for invalid PIN may be controlled by the TPM and not necessarily be a feature of the Credential Provider. The target platform is Windows 8 and 10. This is to be developed using C++ or C# or a combination of the two. Hi there, I am looking to build an online sales portal.... Below i will explain what i need the portal to do. I need there to be an online access point, where i can create logins for multiple users. They need to be able to log in and fill in forms online, these forms will be given certain categories that they can select from. e.g. RTA, Holiday Sickness, Flight Delays. Once a category has been selected a form is opened for the user to fill out. This form with be tailored to the category they have chosen. Now the form is completed, the user clicks submit. The user then needs to have a drop down that shows the companies (solicitors) they are able to send this form (claim) too. Once they select who they wish to send it too, this will then send a form to the relevant solicitors email address. The solicitor will also have logins for the portal so they can access there form that has been sent to them. At this point, the user will call the solicitor to notify them a new form (claim) has been sent. They will have the ability to log on and locate the new form (claim) and take on the information that has been sent over. Now the solicitor has the file, i need there to be a tracker on the file, this means that the solicitor can tick off when certain stages of the claim have been passed as shown below. - Claimant successfully hot keyed -Client accepted, information correct. -Pack sent to client. -Pack returned. -Client completed. -Client Retained. This will be viewable for the user who originally sent the file. So that they know when their client has been accepted and retained. There will also be other options for the solicitors to use, such as requesting for the original user to get in touch. I will need different levels of access for users, such as management level where they can view all users claims.
