I have the table in the spreadsheet and would like to show the weekly rent transaction as daily .Our system deducts rent weekly ( on Monday) in advance as you will notice in the actual tab of the spreadsheet and I'm trying to breakdown the transaction on a daily level to show the balance of a tenant and if they are in arrears or in advance. The tenant can make payments in different means like cash, bank transfer or credit card. Each payment type is identified by the Payment Type column. Payment Type of 1 means rent debit ( rent deduction), 40 means commencement debit. 14 means payment by credit card Commencement Debit: The first amount that kicks in is the commencement debit which is calculated. This is specified by payment type 40 Calculate no of days between tenancy start date and first Monday/Rent Debit ( rent debit is specified by payment type 1) Calculate daily rent from the weekly rent ( for example 210/7 gives daily rent 30) Commencement debit is No of days * daily rate. For Example If the tenancy started on the 09/03/2016, the commencement debit is 09/03/2016 – 14/09/2016 ( 14 March is the first Monday for this tenancy). i.e 5 * 30 = 150. The means the customer owes 150 prior to the rent debit which is a Monday and 210 in advance for the current week. So in total the customer owes 360. This how the current system calculates the rent. Termination Debit: The reverse applies for Termination debit when the tenancy terminates/end. This is identified by Payment Type 41. Since the customer pays a week’s rent in advance, if the termination happens middle of the week, we need to credit in the balance amount from the day of the termination till next Sunday. So if the termination was on 17/03/2016 we need to credit back 4 days of rent i.e from 17/03/2016 to 20/03/2016. Rent Adjustments: These are adjustments made to the account and is not actual money. For deduct money PaymentType 30 is used which debits the amount from the tenant balance. For credit adjustments Payment Type 31 is used. The current customer rent statement is built based on the above variables and need to create an accurate daily statement. The main consideration is that tenancies start a different days of the week but the rent is calculated on Mondays. If the tenancy started during the week the system will charge for the next week in advance and also for the days before the first Monday ( i.e the first payment cycle) Please check both the worksheet tab on the attached workbook. Thanks Jag Jag

just updating this. I believe no one can be helpful on this because, I found out that this database is off the shelf and if they need to modified the script or anything they need to contact the vendor. usually blocking occurs only when there is select query ran during the deleting statement. Again, this is not something you we can go in and modified it. it needs to be done by who ever owns the application/database. There is job that run not from the SQL Server Agent. This is old issue and Im not sure why, your insight will be appreciated.
